I woke up this morning at around six thirty in the morning, my sister asked me if I could drove her somewhere in Balayan in Batangas. It was a long drive and I was like still sleepy since I haven't got any much sleep last night. Anyhow, I brought my camera so I can do something while waiting for my sister. I saw this old lady in front of the church I asked her if I can take photos and I gave her 20 pesos. I feel sad every time I see some old people begging on the streets. I always wonder what will happen to me when I grow old, I just hope I will not end up like this. 

The title was Fault and Fracture, taken from Converge's Jane Doe album since I was listening to them. Nothing really significant. but I wonder what happen to the course of life of this old lady. Maybe this is part of the fractures of her life.

Here is my first photo for this blog. Went for a photo walk this afternoon with my friend at Bauan Batangas. This photo was taken at the public market of Bauan. I like the frame within a frame shot on this one. And I am still experimenting on two tone post processing.

People. Life. Stories

My name is Lorenzo and I started taking photographs way back college and since then I got interested in this art called photography. This time I will be starting this photo blog. This is a personal project of mine to hone my skills, develop my interest and to stop being lazy. A New Year's resolution for me. I want to be more active, go out on the street or do some nature tripping and tell stories through photographs.

This will no longer called A Photo a Day Project, since a lot of people are doing their 365 project and I don't want to be tagged as another person jumping on the bandwagon. Though I will still do my best to take photos everyday, but this blog no longer focus on posting photos taken on a day to day basis. I will post photos that I haven't been uploaded or posted on my social networking site.

As of this moment I am still building and doing some minor adjustments on this site.

I know this is quite a task but I am very optimistic about this project and looking forward to have a great year of taking photos and telling stories.
