The Ataris Live in Manila

A little souvenir from last weekend's show.
I was on a fan boy mode last weekend at The Ataris Manila Tour. Been waiting for this moment since I've heard End Is Forever in 2001. Though I am not really into their new material I still consider this band as one of my fave band. End is Forever, Blue Skies, Broken Heart... Next Twelve Exits has been the soundtrack of my early days in college. Together with bands like The Get Up Kids, Taking Back Sunday  Saves The Day, Grade, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, American Football, Texas is The Reason to name a few. They've been influential to me and my band since started playing pop punk tunes, covering song like Giving Up On Love, Summer Wind Was Always Our Song and San Dimas High School Football Rules. So I was really thankful that they toured here and its better late than never. I even have a little chat with Kris Roe and thank him for the music(cliche! haha)  and he even complement for the shirt (The Get Up Kids) I'm wearing during that time. I sang my heart out in each of every song they played that night and It was all worth it.

Thank you The Ataris.

Listening to: Grade - Under The Radar and Elliot - False Cathedral.

Oh, nostalgia!
