Toe Live in Manila

After the long wait, Japanese instrumental/math/post rock band Toe is coming to Manila this March 20, 2012. This band is on my top ten list of bands I want to see before I die, so I'm stoked about this news.

I discover Toe's music back in 2007, thanks to the Japan's legendary punk band Husking Bee. Toe did a cover of Husking Bee's 8.6 for the tribute compilation CD for the band. And since then I tried searching for their music. This is the time when toe's music is really hard to find on the internet. 

Songs, Ideas We Forgot is a debut ep released by the band back in 2002 and since then they create this fantastic, melodic, emotional clean sound. 

Early bird ticket price is 1,500 Philippine Peso and 1,800php for a regular priced ticket. Venue is still to be announce so watch out for that.

St. Jerome's Laneway Festival

Ok, so I got my ticket for St. Jerome's Laneway Festival in Singapore. Thanks to my friend Dess for getting the ticks for me. I am so excited to see the bands lined for this event, this might be ultimate indie experience. Line up is so-so good. I might stay there for a week so I can have some time to tour around city and meet some of my friends. So guys feed me for a week, ok? Lolz. :))
